Crown Rally 8 - Dragon Run was a huge success by raising over $60,000 of their 100k goal for 2019 for the Rally4aCause Foundation, and there's still another rally to go!  This rally took place on May 30, 2019 beginning with the pre-rally party at Collectors' Car Garage in Chicago, where driver's were able to check in and enjoy catching up with other ralliers, meeting lots of new faces, checking out the insane rally cars while eating some delicious hor d'oeuvres and cocktails.

The next morning was launch, and let me just say this was the best launch for Crown Rally yet!  We once again closed off Jackson St by Buckingham Fountain in preparation for the launch of #dragonrun to then be escorted by the Medinah Motorcycle Brigade for 125 miles to the Rantoul International Airport for a 1/2 mile drag race event!  The race event was loads of fun and great BBQ to fuel everyone up for the winding roads and spirited driving they were set for.

Although I wasn't able to continue with the rally after the drag strip event (due to a wedding the next day), I thoroughly enjoyed catching the first parts of Crown Rally 8 - Dragon Run and it was great catching up with the rally fam!  I can't wait for the Crown Rally 9 - Alpha Run coming up in August where I will be participating with media coverage once again as we head from the Twin Cities to Milwaukee to Chicago.  See you all at CR9!
